The Oyo State Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, Hon. Wasilat Adegoke has said youth inclusion in governance is a requisite for robust democracy and accountability in Nigeria. National Youth Games: Oyo Commissioner, Wasilat Charges Athletes To Restore Oyo’s Glory In Asaba

Oyo state Youth and Sports commissioner, Hon. Wasilat Adegoke  has charged the state's athletes going to this year's National Sports Festival in Asaba to restore the sporting glory for which the state was known. Wasilat gave the charge during her visitation to the athlete's camp at Adamasingba sports complexes in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital. The newly appointed Commissioner for Youth and Sports,Hon Wasilat Adegoke Adefemi resumed her duty post on Thursday,with a promise to work assiduously to ensure that the state attains higher in Youth and Sports development. Commissioner gave the assurance on her assumption of office that her swearing in as Youth and Sports Commissioner in Oyo state by the Oyo state Governor,Engr Seyi Makinde,will continue to propel her to strive hard and justify the confidence reposed in her and deliver in her current position.
