Oyo Trains Facilitators Of Conditional Cash Transfer Scheme
The Oyo State Government has commenced training of one hundred and ninety-nine facilitators to enrol beneficiaries into the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer Scheme. The Oyo State Head, State Cash Transfer Unit, Mr. Akintunde Gbadamosi stated this in Ibadan, at a workshop for Cash Transfer facilitators from the thirty-three local government areas of the state. Mr. Gbadamosi noted that the beneficiaries were expected to receive a monthly stipend of twenty-five thousand naira for three months. He said the training of officers will fast-track the process and make it easier for the beneficiaries to access the cash transfer. Gbadamosi also said a total of 199 Local Government officers working on the project comprising 33 desk officers, 133 cash transfer facilitators, and 33 Grievance Redress Officers are being trained to be knowledgeable on the procedure for enrollment and sensitization of the beneficiaries.
