The Chairman Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission,  Honourable Femi Julius Okedoyin says Nigeria's present predicament is a test from Allah and it will soon end in joy and happiness. Okedoyin stated this in his 2025 Eid-el-Kabir message said just as Allah surprised Prophet Ibrahim on the Mount of Arafat by replacing his son Ismail with a ram, Nigeria will soon get rid of its many challenges and it will be a success story at last. He therefore charged Nigerians to continue to demonstrate strong faith and engage in more devotional and sacrificial acts saying Allah has promised ease after hardship and succor after tribulations. The Oyo State Head of Service, Mrs Olubunmi Oni, mni has said that the present administration would create more robust partnership with professional bodies like Chartered Institute of Personnel Management in the areas of training, policy formulation and innovation in personnel management. Oyo Govt Fines 32 Offenders For Illegal Waste Dumping

The Oyo State Government has prosecuted Thirty-two (32) individuals for indiscriminate waste disposal, including dumping sachet water nylons, refuse, and other waste materials at road medians and unathorised places.  The offenders were fined ₦50,000 each for violating environmental sanitation laws. The Tribunal judge, Barrister Olumide Abifarin, disclosed this during a hearing held at the Ministry of Environment, and Natural Resources, Ibadan. According to him, Environmental officials arrested the offenders in March and they were charged with three offenses: Illegal waste dumping; Failure to register with accredited waste collectors; and Failure to provide a waste bin. The judge said dumping refuse in unauthorized locations is punishable under Section 74(a) and 97 of the Environmental Sanitation and Waste Control Regulations 2013.
