All tertiary institutions Union leaders and indigenous student associations in Oyo state on Monday met with the new commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Wasilat Adegoke  in a bid to revitalize the existing relationship between Governor Seyi Makinde's administration. The meeting between Hon. Adegoke and the student union leaders came after the warning protest held by the students last week. It will be recalled that the state students beseeched the state government office last week with agitations that, the state governor has not been forthcoming with his promises to students as well as seeing students as very important tools for the progress of his administration. During the visit to the commissioner after the protest, the students union leaders implored the commissioner to use her office to facilitate their demands from the government. An   Award has been bestowed on the ministry  of Youth and Sport in Oyo State  The  Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sport Honourable Wasilat Adegoke  Adefemi received the Award  on behalf of the Ministry . The Award  was conferred  on the Ministry having excelled on  Strategic Plan Implementation  ,Quality of Submission . It was during  a Retreat organized for  Polity Office Holders .
