OYO SPORT MINISTRY RECEIVES AWARD AS LEADERSHIP RETREAT HOLDS IN IBADAN


An   Award has been bestowed on the ministry  of Youth and Sport in Oyo State 

The  Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Sport Honourable Wasilat Adegoke  Adefemi received the Award  on behalf of the Ministry .

The Award  was conferred  on the Ministry having excelled on  Strategic Plan Implementation  ,Quality of Submission .

It was during  a Retreat organized for  Polity Office Holders .

Responding  ,the Commissioner for Youth and Sports Hon Wasilat Adegoke Adefemi expressed her delight promising to do her best to move the Ministry forward .
 She hinted the Award would spur her to do more in serving the people of Oyo state,as she appreciated Oyo state Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde for giving her enabling environment to excel and for giving her opportunity to serve .
 Adegoke equally thanked the management and staff of the Ministry for their supports and co-operation,noting that the success stories were attained through joint efforts.
The Commissioner  said the present administration under Governor Seyi Makinde  is doing a lot to promote  sport development  in the State .

She added that  programmes that would enhance youth promotion and development  are also receiving  topmost attention  .
 She commended Oyo state Governor,Engineer Seyi Makinde as a performing governor who has impacted positively on masses as well in an efforts at moving Oyo state to greater heights in the overall interest of the good people of Oyo state.
The Commissioner  called on people to continue to support government policies and programmes  for Oyo State to always retain  her pace setting status .

Oyo TESCOM Begins Screening Exercise Distributes Appointment Letters

 The Oyo State Post Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), is set  for the   screening exercise and  distribution of appointment letters to newly appointed teachers. The Permanent Secretary for the Commission,  Alhaji Lawal Haroon, made this known to newsmen as contained in a circular dated December 26, 2024.  He said  that the new appointees would  receive SMS notifications regarding their screening process and appointment letters from  Saturday, December 28, 2024, emphasizing  that the newly recruited teachers are to report at their respective zones for  collection of  their appointment letters from Monday, 30th December, 2024. The Permanent Secretary also clarified that the appointment letters ready for Monday do not include  individuals with special needs or non-teaching categories. WASILAT ASSUMES OFFICE AS OYO COMMISSIONER FOR YOUTH AND SPORTS

The newly appointed Commissioner for Youth and Sports,Hon Wasilat Adegoke Adefemi resumed her duty post on Thursday,with a promise to work assiduously to ensure that the state attains higher in Youth and Sports development.
