OYO GOVT CONGRATULATES PACESETTER YOUTHS ON NATIONAL YOUTH DAY


As National Youth Day is being marked on every November 1 , Oyo State Government says youth empowerment   programmes. and policies are  being vigorously pursued by Seyi Makinde's Administration in  the State.

The State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Honourable  Wasilat  Adegoke Adefemi  stated this in a statement issued in Ibadan and made available to newsmen .

She said the present Administration would continue to pursue policies that will engender better future for youths in the State.

She noted with delight that Oyo state Government  has continued to provide adequate opportunities through  small scale loans as well as giving government jobs to graduating youth. 

The Commissioner called on youths to refrain from unlawful behaviour that could smear their image.

Hon Wasilat Adegoke Adefemi urged them to always contribute  their quota towards the development of Oyo State .

She however felicitates with the young Nigerians wishing them well in all their engagements .

Oyo TESCOM Begins Screening Exercise Distributes Appointment Letters

 The Oyo State Post Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), is set  for the   screening exercise and  distribution of appointment letters to newly appointed teachers. The Permanent Secretary for the Commission,  Alhaji Lawal Haroon, made this known to newsmen as contained in a circular dated December 26, 2024.  He said  that the new appointees would  receive SMS notifications regarding their screening process and appointment letters from  Saturday, December 28, 2024, emphasizing  that the newly recruited teachers are to report at their respective zones for  collection of  their appointment letters from Monday, 30th December, 2024. The Permanent Secretary also clarified that the appointment letters ready for Monday do not include  individuals with special needs or non-teaching categories. WASILAT ASSUMES OFFICE AS OYO COMMISSIONER FOR YOUTH AND SPORTS

The newly appointed Commissioner for Youth and Sports,Hon Wasilat Adegoke Adefemi resumed her duty post on Thursday,with a promise to work assiduously to ensure that the state attains higher in Youth and Sports development.
